Rebirth Island is a very popular small sized battle royale map inside of Call of Duty: Warzone, people seem to enjoy it because of the fast paced game play & the ability to respawn if your team is still alive.
With the release of Warzone Pacific, they decided to remove Rebirth Island from the playlists to try and get people to try out the new map Caldera which takes place on a tropical island.
Considering that it’s a very popular map, they aren’t going to remove it forever. In fact they actually released an update on when it will be returning to Warzone as a playable playlist.

When will Rebirth Island return?
The return of Rebirth Island has officially been announced, the date was revealed in the Season One patch notes for Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific which you can read here.

In the patch notes it is indicated that Rebirth will be returning in the Week of December the 16th, although it does NOT indicate that it will be coming exactly on that day but some time in the week following the 16th.
