An FOV Slider on console has been a highly requested feature among players in Call of Duty: Warzone ever since the launch of the next gen consoles & it has been a topic Activision has been shying away from answering.
With the launch of the new Warzone Pacific map Caldera just around the corner people are concerned that and FOV Slider may not be coming to consoles.
Activision and Call of Duty developers have been avoiding the elephant in the room that is a FOV Slider & a lot of people are saying it will decide if they come back to Warzone.
So let’s talk about everything we know so far about the possibility of a Console FOV Slider & when to expect more official information on it.
FOV Slider on Console
Currently there is no official release date for an FOV Slider on consoles or even if they will be getting one, but we have some information in the upcoming patch notes for Season 1 of Warzone Pacific.
This news comes after the Creative Director went on a twitter binge where he was replying to questions people had about Warzone Pacific Season 1, in one he replied to a person asking about an FOV Slider for Consoles.
Definitely aware of this, especially that I speak as a console player.
Thing is, if I tweet literally anything then it will become a headline which wouldn’t be fair on me or the team. I just hope that these patch notes make it clear; you are being heard, and we are listening.

The reply doesn’t seem promising for people wanting this feature added, as he says the patch notes make it clear that “you are being heard” and that they are “listening”.
Personally if the feature was indeed coming with the Integration of Warzone & Vanguard for Season 1, I would say something along the lines of “you will be pleased to see what we have coming in the upcoming patch notes”
When could an FOV Slider be coming?
As I’ve stated before in this post, I don’t think we will be seeing an FOV Slider coming to consoles with Season 1 of Warzone Pacific as the Creative Director didn’t seem to promising in his replies.
I do however believe we will be seeing the feature added some time in the next couple of months, very possibly with the release of Season 2 of Warzone Pacific as Ted Timmins says ” I’d like to continue this Warzone journey with you into 2022 please :)”
😂 Guys seriously, it’s almost 2am and I’m 90% sure I’ll already have an email in my inbox by morning about my activity on Twitter tonight. I’d like to continue this Warzone journey with you into 2022 please 🙂

The part at the end may be a subtle hint that the feature will be coming in 2022, but this is all speculation as previously stated, official news will be coming in the next couple of days with the Season 1 patch notes of Warzone Pacific.
