Season two of Call of Duty: Warzone was recently released with a list of gun changes but it appears as if all the gun changes were not actually included as players have found a secret buff to the PPSH.
In a recent video, @JGOD did some research into the Vanguard PPSH damage statistics inside of Warzone that revealed that the gun may have receives a secret buff that wasn’t in the patch notes.
The numbers he found are very surprising and appear to be a mistake on behalf of someone working at Raven Software, see down below for more.
The PPSH Damage Statistics
In the video, JGOD goes over how he measured the damage amounts inside of Warzone, as well as how he thinks this was an unintended change to the weapons statistics.
The damage can be measured by turning your weapon to single fire and using it on people in the pre lobby than looking at the damage amounts after shooting certain parts of the body.
Data suggested that every damage area on the PPSH received a 10 point increase, which allows the weapon to have 6 shots to elimination rate.
He also goes on to show that the PPSH has a Time to Eliminate of around 419 which is much lower than the average Meta SMG build of 550ms – 600ms TTK.
This is why he believes that the change was a mistake as it seems to be the quickest TTK that we have seen on an SMG build.
The PPSH Warzone Build
Down below will be the Loadouts that JGOD himself has suggested to use, as I’m sure a lot of you may be looking for the legends specific setup.
If you are hesitant to use the PPSH just know that he said “this is probably the only weapon you should be using because if you’re not you will probably get outgunned.”
