Call of Duty: Vanguard is the latest game in the series & will be releasing on November 5th. Speaking of Call of Duty, a game that Activsion has been publishing for almost 18 years, I wanted to go over the top 10 celebrities featured in Call of Duty over the years.

10. Helena Bonham Carter – Black Ops 4 Zombies

Harry Potter fans should recognize Helena Carter. The actor who played Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter was featured inside of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies on the map Dead of the Night. In the game, she takes on the role of Madame Mirela, a psychic who maybe isn’t being all that honest about her supernatural capabilities. The character claims that she has the ability to speak with the dead.

9. Kevin Spacey – Advanced Warfare Campaign

The next celebrity in Call of Duty you may recognize from House of Cards, where he plays Francis Underwood the 46th President in the show. Kevin is also feature in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Campaign. Where you will find him as the head of a private military contractor that has gone rogue, which is now taking on the United States government.

8. George Romero – Black Ops Zombies

One of the celebrities featured in Call of Duty is a prominent director for the Living Dead Series. George Romero can be found inside of Call of Duty: Black Ops on the Zombies map Call of the Dead. In the game he is referenced as “The Director” or “The Godfather of all Zombies”. Romero was doing research for a World War II movie when he came across Nazi documents pertaining to Element 115.

 

 

7. Ed Harris – Black Ops Campaign

If you watched “The Truman Show” back in the day or even the modern show “Westworld” you might recognize the character from Call of Duty: Black Ops. In it Ed Harris plays special agent Jason Hudson a member of the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne Division and served during the Korean War. Hudson was also the deuteragonist of Black Ops, and a supporting character in the 1980s missions of Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

6. Ray Liotta – Black Ops 2 Zombies

Ray Liotta is know for playing as psychopathic characters who hide behind a cultivated charm. He’s well known for roles in “Field of Dreams” and “Operation Dumbo Drop” but you could know him from something else because he maintains a steady flow of work. You can find him featured in DLC Pack Uprising for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, He plays Billy Handsome on the Zombies map Mob of the Dead. Billy and his fellow mobsters were talked into escaping the prison by Albert Arlington, who had devised a plan to fly off the roof of the prison in a makeshift plane designed by himself.

5. Ice Cube – Black Ops Campaign

Another one of the celebrities featured in Call of Duty early on in the series was the actor Ice Cube, you may know him from films like “Friday”, “Boyz n the Hood” or even “Ride Along”. Ice Cube can be found in Call of Duty: Black Ops during the campaign, playing the role of Joseph Bowman, who was an SOG operative and the right-hand man of Sergeant Frank Woods. Eventually in the campaign he is killed by a Spetsnaz Operative.

4. Jason Statham – Call of Duty Campaign

If you watched the movies “Crank”, “Furious 7” or “The Meg” you should be accustomed to Jason Statham, well what a lot of you may not know is he was featured in the first ever Call of Duty. In the game he was known as a British soldier named Sergeant Waters, assigned to 3 Troop of the 2nd SAS during World War II. In 1944, he parachutes in with Price, Evans and another squad to sabotage the Eder Dam and extract Evans.

 

 

3. Jeff Goldblum –  Black Ops 3 Zombies

If you’re a fan of the Jurassic Park Series you will recognize Jeff Goldblum where he is featured as a character in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. In the game he is called Nero Blackstone & is one of the four main characters on the map Shadows of Evil. Nero was once a very successful magician in Morg City, but his popularity sunk quickly for unknown reasons, going as far as being crowned “Worst Magician of the Year” by the Magician’s Weekly magazine.

2. Jimmy Kimmel – Black Ops 2 Campaign

Actor and producer Jimmy Kimmel is well know for his late night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” where he serves up comedy bits for his audience. You can find him in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, where he plays the role of himself and interviews Chloe Lynch in the campaign. They talk about her accomplishment of saving the world, then Chloe makes an insulting joke about Raul Menendez.

1. Connor McGregor – Infinite Warfare Campaign

The professional mixed martial artist known as Connor McGregor, although not known by many is featured in the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Campaign. In the game he plays the role of Bradley Fillion in the First and Third missions. He serves as the military muscle for Salen Kotch, the game’s main antagonist. A lot of people may know know because he is only in the campaign for a couple of minutes.
