Rebirth Island is a very popular option for people who are looking for quicker gameplay, unfortunately it looks like it will be temporarily removed from Call of Duty: Warzone following Season 1 of Warzone Pacific.
In a recent article talking about Season 1 of Warzone Pacific and the new map Caldera, they mention which playlists will be available on December 8th for owners of Call of Duty: Vanguard and the 9th for everyone else.
This seems to be something that has been overlooked and is not really being talked about, so let’s go over everything that we know about the playlists available for Season 1 of Warzone Pacific & when Rebirth will be returning.
Rebirth Island being removed?
The mode for Rebirth Island will be removed from Call of Duty: Warzone on December 9th for at least a week long, before this on December 8th players who don’t own Vanguard will have a “one-day-only Rebirth Island playlist.”
In the playlists it will feature Resurgence as well as a Mini Royale mode for Rebirth, on December 9th Caldera becomes accessible to all players , with Rebirth Island returning later in Season One.

- Caldera playable to owners of Vanguard
- Rebirth Island ONLY available to everyone else
- Verdansk is REMOVED and isn’t playable

When will Rebirth Island return?
Now that you know Rebirth will be removed on December 9th, you may be wondering when you will be able to play the map again.
In the article, they stated that during Season One of Warzone Pacific featured playlists will include returns to “Rebirth for Resurgence and other game modes.”
Unfortunately no date has been specified for the return of the map, but you should expect at least a week without being able to play on it.
