As we get closer to the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 we will begin to learn more about the storyline of the game and who is featured in the Campaign.
Task Force 141 will reunite in the sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare alongside Alejandro, a brand new face who we will learn more about after the release date by playing Single Player.
Today, in a blog post by Activision, the Modern Warfare 2 main characters were revealed, so let’s go over their names and a little bit about them.
Modern Warfare 2 Main Characters
Captain John Price
Captain John Price who goes by the callsign ‘Bravo Six’, is a British special forces sniper and the main protagonist of the Modern Warfare sub-franchise.
Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley
Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley is a Lieutenant in the British special forces and a prominent member of Task Force 141, he’s best known for his iconic skull-patterned mask, headset, and sunglasses.
Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrack
Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrack is a Sergeant in the SAS who was Recruited by Captain Price to Task Force 141 after an operation in Urkinstan.
John ‘Soap’ MacTavish
John ‘Soap’ MacTavish is a sergeant and special forces soldier, serving as the 22nd S.A.S. Regiment’s sniper and demolitions expert.
Alejandro Vargas – New
Not much is known about Alejandro Vargas as he is a brand new character in the Modern Warfare subseries, although they did highlight that he was a Colonel of the Mexican Special Forces.
