How to UNLOCK the Vargo 52 in Black Ops Cold War; Year Two Content

Treyarch is starting to add year two content to Call of Duty: Cold War but nothing has officially been announced, although around a week ago data miners found new stuff added to the game files.

Among the things that were added were new remastered maps from Black Ops 1, new operators as well as new weapons one of which was the Vargo 52.

Although the Vargo 52 hasn’t officially been added to the game, players have figured out a way to unlock the Cold War DLC weapon early inside of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Now that Treyarch has released the year two content update we can now see what the gun looks like and how it fires inside of Call of Duty: Cold War.

It seems to be quite a powerful AR with mid-range and short-range capabilities, only time will tell if it will be a Meta gun inside of Call of Duty: Warzone.

How to Unlock Vargo 52 AR

In an article talking about Cold War Year 2 content, Treyarch reveals how you will be able to unlock the Vargo 52 as well as some other things coming to the game.

Multiplayer & Warzone

1. Load into Cold War multiplayer
2. Set up a class with an AR on it
3. Get 1,000 damage with an AR in 15 matches
4. After 15 matches you will unlock it

Zombies

1. Load into Cold War Zombies
2. Set up & use AR class
3. Get 750 Kills with a Tier 3 Pack-a-Punched AR

After you follow these steps you should get a prompt on the screen saying that you have now unlocked the Vargo 52 AR to use in Call of Duty: Cold War.

Fastest Method to Unlock Vargo 52

A lot of you may be wondering what is the fastest method to unlock the Vargo 52 inside of Modern Warfare, so let’s go over that.

Unlike the newer games like Call of Duty: Vanguard & Cold War, you can actually back out of the game after getting your challenge done.

Warzone

1. Loadup Plunder Gamemode
2. Get 1,000 Damage with an AR
3. Back out of the game
4. Rinse and Repeat

Multiplayer

1. Loadup Modes w/ Small Maps (Nuketown)
2. Get 1,000 Damage w/ AR in-game
3. Play Through the Game
4. Rinse & Repeat

Zombies

1. Load up Forsaken
2. Start with an AR class
3. sit in spawn to farm money
4. unlock pack and pack to tier 3
5. get 750 kills with a pack tier 3 AR

Using these methods you should be able to unlock the new weapon in under 1 hour.
