Activision ditching the Battle Net launcher with the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, the games will be hosted on a ‘Call of Duty Application’ according to a leaker.
A few months back an insider ‘Hydra’ shared an image of the unannounced ‘Call of Duty Application’, with users such as @OMGFawzi & @QndzyGaming making concepts of the app in action.
The ‘Call of Duty Application’ will be where you can add friends, see their activities, buy Call of Duty games, and much more.
Call of Duty Application
You may be wondering where we are getting the information about them ditching the Battle Net application, here’s what the credible leaker @TheGhostofHope had to say.
He starts off by quote tweeting the Concept Video by saying, “Call of Duty application is gonna look fire with this UI” shortly followed by some reply tweets of people asking questions.
A user asked, “Hope this doesn’t mean we have to launch into CoD app and then into another game app every time” to which hope replied saying they are DITCHING the Battle Net app.
I mean it’s just them abandoning blizzard side of things and basically becoming their own launcher lol you basically won’t even have to install battle net anymore and can delete it.

As you can see unlike Battle Net, this will be 100% focused on Call of Duty, where you can scroll thru all the games offered as well as all your friends and their activity.
We can also see things such as a Soldier, Social, Challenges, Battle Pass, and Store tabs, this leads us to believe all the games will continue to be intertwined.
